Wow it’s been a hot minute since I did a blog post, but that’s what slow season is for, right? I’m also trying to give myself some grace since 2020 was a dumpster fire of a year …there was (still is) a raging pandemic …and I had a baby …and I worked two jobs. But we’ve survived so far so here I am documenting some of my favorite photography moments over the past year.

This little cutie turned one in June and what better way to celebrate her birthday during covid quarantine than with an outdoor cake smash? This was also the shoot that convinced me I needed to buy the Canon 70-200 2.8 instead of renting it. Hello bokeh, hello beautiful compression, byeeeee money!!
